Most of my clients tell me that they are camera shy and they don't know how to pose. I initially tell them to pretend they are on a modeling session and to just follow my direction and to try to relax. Honestly they do very well. I just slightly direct and and they do the rest of the magic. I have a pretty calm presence and I really do enjoy my work so I think that also helps my clients feel relaxed. I get so excited sometimes that I even show them the back of the camera sometimes:) I'm certain you'll be happy with your photoshoot:)

Meet Yanira! I’m a people person, entrepreneur and a boy mom. I want to make family photos as fun as possible. I have over 10 years of experience and helping you answer all the questions (what to wear, where to go, what to bring), we’ll have tons of fun and you’ll soon have clean, classic photos that capture your real life.
The secret to portraits is to get to know each other beforehand
It didn’t take long, till my creative hobby got noticed by friends and neighbors from the community, who wanted precious family moments captured in a similar, earthy, cinematic way. Since I knew them well, I could easily focus on their unique quirks and family dynamic.
This is an essential step that I’ve kept with all my clients. Before we agree to work together, we'll meet in person or have a few online calls, to get to know each other. It’s all about building trust prior to getting in front of a camera.

Our little ones always grow up way to fast
It feels like only yesterday you found out that you’re expecting your baby. Nine months flew by, and you welcomed your newborn into the world. A few sleepless nights, and they’re already crawling, then walking, then running. You wish you could freeze time, so they stay little and curious about everything, for a bit longer. But time doesn’t stop, and all you can do is save each memory through a photo, and revisit it weeks, months and years from now.
Maternity, Newborn, and Family sessions are very personal
It takes trust to let someone new into your home, and allow them to hang out with your family. We’ll have several consultations, to build rapport and discuss the process. This will help us create relaxed photos, just like these!
